Welcome!

What led me to my field

I chose the field of public relations because one person can have a huge impact on the world, but many people can cause even more change. One customer is great, but one thousand is better. I enjoy using my writing and strategic planning skills to build these audiences to help the brands that I believe in succeed. I'm a lifelong auto enthusiast, so I chose this specific industry to make work fun.

Favorite achievements

One of my favorite professional achievements was during my time at House PR as an intern where I pitched a story to the UK's largest daily papers, The Independent. One week later the story for our client was featured on page 2, generating a PR value of over $15,000.

Leadership

Whether it be leading a team or contributing to the leadership process, I believe that this is a skill that generates results. I managed my collegiate newspaper for 3 years. I assisted this volunteer team of 10-15 writers to pass on the lessons I learned to foster growth in their own writing endeavors.

Service

Some of my favorite service projects that I have helped on was assisting in a renovation of a Habitat for Humanity resale store. The results were gratifying and a hands-on approach made the time with my colleagues enriching. I also volunteer at the Peoria Humaine Society to get my fill of love from animals who have lots to give.

Personal interests

Travelling

I love to get outside my comfort zone. Whether it was my summer in London working PR, my trip to Barcelona to visit the beach and practice Spanish or exploring Stuttgart to see the world-famous Porsche museum.
